BREAKING! Federal High Court Orders Abia State Governor To Immediately Vacate Office (See Why)

Justice Okon Abang of a Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, to vacate his office immediately, after finding him guilty of submitting false information to his party, the PDP during the party’s governorship primary in December 2014.
Ikpeazu’s rival at the primary, Uche Ogah, had petitioned the court and provided evidence to show that Ikpeazu had indeed provided false information about himself to their party. After listening to the counsels of both politicians, the presiding judge ordered INEC to immediately issue a certificate of return to Ogah.

Good News :- JAMB 2017 examinations to hold in May

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have announced that the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will hold in May 2017. This was made known by the JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, through the Board’s Twitter handle @jambhq According to him, actual dates will be announced soon. He also advised candidates to beware of false dates and fraudsters. “2017 UTME is scheduled to hold in May 2017. Actual dates will be announced soon. Beware of false dates and fraudsters,” he said. Meanwhile, JAMB registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede has explained why an unusual delay has preceded the sales of application forms.
